Scholarly Resources Coordinator [Australia]


 

The Student Administration and Library Services team at Swinburne University of Technology is looking for a Scholarly Resources Coordinator to join their team.

The Scholarly Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordinating the evaluation, selection, acquisition and renewal of library information resources and collections to facilitate teaching, learning and research at Swinburne. This role will also represent Swinburne as the Content Coordinator for the Council of University Librarians (CAUL) Consortium and is a member of the Library’s Collections Advisory Committee.

This role will also have two Scholarly Resource Officers reporting directly to them.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and to work creatively to achieve solutions

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage projects and complete tasks to deadlines
  • Demonstrated skills in using digital technologies including digital tools including library management systems, Microsoft Office products, advanced Excel skills, data analytics and visualization tools

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields
