Job Objective

To formulate and implement business strategies of the division, and to lead and direct marketing activities towards achieving the Bank’s objectives and goals.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to grow client base, identify new business opportunities, and expand market share. Stay abreast of market developments and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutional clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, understand their objectives, and proactively offer financial products and services that align with their requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. Implement risk management frameworks and controls to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks associated with FIG activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives to align FIG strategies with overall organizational goals. Present performance updates, business plans, and financial projections to senior management and board members.

Key Accountabilities

  • To achieve and accomplish the goals and KPIs identified.
  • To increase the market penetration rate on regional basis.
  • To ensure compliance of all regulatory requirements and fulfillment of Bank’s policies and standards in carrying out business activities.
  • To ensure risk KPIs are met.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 15 years’ commercial banking experience with at least 10 years at relevant experience of current position.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Excellent leadership.
  • Effective coaching, communication and problem solving skills.
  • In-depth expertise in all aspects of corporate lending with strong knowledge on banking practices and market situations.
  • Strong business acumen and an intimate knowledge of the marketplace.
  • Maintain appropriate level of contact with relevant local government and trade organizations.
  • Strong credit and risk skills.
  • Min degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics,
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (both verbal and written).
