Job Objective
To formulate and implement business strategies of the division, and to lead and direct marketing activities towards achieving the Bank’s objectives and goals.
Principal Responsibilities
- Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to grow client base, identify new business opportunities, and expand market share. Stay abreast of market developments and industry trends.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutional clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, understand their objectives, and proactively offer financial products and services that align with their requirements.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. Implement risk management frameworks and controls to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks associated with FIG activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives to align FIG strategies with overall organizational goals. Present performance updates, business plans, and financial projections to senior management and board members.
Key Accountabilities
- To achieve and accomplish the goals and KPIs identified.
- To increase the market penetration rate on regional basis.
- To ensure compliance of all regulatory requirements and fulfillment of Bank’s policies and standards in carrying out business activities.
- To ensure risk KPIs are met.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ commercial banking experience with at least 10 years at relevant experience of current position.
- Strategic thinking.
- Excellent leadership.
- Effective coaching, communication and problem solving skills.
- In-depth expertise in all aspects of corporate lending with strong knowledge on banking practices and market situations.
- Strong business acumen and an intimate knowledge of the marketplace.
- Maintain appropriate level of contact with relevant local government and trade organizations.
- Strong credit and risk skills.
- Min degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics,
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both verbal and written).
