Our Payroll Operations team is managing payroll related activities for our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) based associates spanning across fifty-two countries. We work as part of a Global Payroll structure which provides the opportunity to exposure to a truly international scope and provides lots of room for personal growth and development.
As Payroll Delivery Senior Manager, you will have responsibility for the pre-payroll and payroll processes ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll and remuneration to associates across various countries within the EMEA region.
You will report directly to the EMEA Payroll Operations Director and work closely with the Total Rewards Operations team, Human Resources Business Partners, the Payroll Global Mobility & Equity Tax Manager, the Payroll Accounting teams and our payroll partners.
Your responsibilities will include managing team members, facilitating frequent discussions about performance and career growth, and establishing a positive work environment that recognises individual talents. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of payroll to associates including preparation of the inputs (variable & fixed payroll data) and submission of data to payroll partners. Manage the review and approval of these calculations ensuring correct gross to net calculations, compliance with Company policy for benefits (including taxation) and filing of social security and taxes according to local country legislations.
- Develop and implement optimized and standardized routines, tools, and processes ensuring compliance with in-country regulations in a dynamic environment to drive effectiveness and efficiency. Ensure documentation of procedures to drive standardization.
- Manage and track KPIs regarding payroll delivery measuring timeliness, accuracy, and service delivery with regards to Strategic Payroll Partners and their local in-country payroll providers. Track KPIs to drive internal performance and monitor efficiency of end-to-end process.
- Propose and confirm payroll calendars with relevant internal & external partners, monitor performance against calendar deadlines.
- Provide subject matter expertise for all pre-payroll and payroll processes and respond to all internal payroll queries. Respond to queries raised by external auditors and vendors with regards to payroll delivery processes.
- Proactively partner & engage with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to drive an efficient & compliant E2E process. These stakeholders include but are not limited to People Services, Financial Services and Operating units.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- To be successful in this position, you should bring significant experience in a multinational environment with multi-country payroll knowledge and a proficient understanding of taxes and social security regulations.
- You will be a leader demonstrable experience of people management.
- Ideally, you will possess strong project management skills as well as exhibit a continuous improvement mind-set with a desire to create efficiency by redesigning processes and systems.

Additional Qualifications:
- Degree / Diploma or equivalent in a Business, Accounting or other related field, or relevant payroll experience in an international matrix organization.
- Fluent English is essential. Any other additional European language is advantageous.
- Systems experience in Workday is desirable.
- Knowledge of and applied practice in customer service principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Problem solving capacity, ability to analyse issues and exercise good judgment. Stimulate process improvement by analysing business processes and developing solutions that will boost performance and results.
