Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced team administrator to support our senior management team in Radiology. This is a part time role for 36 hours per week working with the Operations Manager and is based in Auckland City Hospital. You will also work closely with the Team Administrator for Radiology Clinicians and will provide cover for them as required.
In this role, you will provide support for the daily operational, administrative and clerical functions for the senior management team. This is a busy role where no two days will be the same and with your expert organisational skills you will ensure your Managers are in the right place at the right time. You will be fully prepared with the right information and use your initiative to screen calls, emails and visitors, manage the diary and correspondence, take meeting minutes, arrange travel, prepare presentations and reports and be prepared to take on projects as and when required.
This role is not for the faint hearted and although you will not see the blood and guts our hospital deals with, you will be playing an important part in helping us provide these services and in some way, will be making your very own contribution to the Auckland community, so if that is important for you please go ahead and apply.

Among the strong team administration and/or personal assistant experience you bring to this role, you will also have:

  • Meticulous approach ensuring a very high standard of execution using your strong analytical and problem solving abilities. With accuracy and efficiency being essential in this important role, attention to detail will be a key attribute
  • Flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate and find proactive solutions to potential obstacles
  • Driven to create a seamless experience for senior leaders, as well as internal and external customers, taking the initiative to do the things that just need doing
  • Ability to identify efficiencies, facilitate the smooth flow of information, research, provide the right resources and make appropriate decisions
  • Speed and ability to develop strong, highly productive relationships founded on trust and credibility
  • Accomplished communicator with sound interpersonal skills and a professional, warm approach
  • Proven experience in supporting senior leaders in large, complex organisations and will be able to effectively co-ordinate with internal and external customers alike
  • Ability to work autonomously and cope well under pressure, juggling priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong word processing and information management skills including practical experience in databases and Microsoft Office
  • Possess a high level of personal and professional integrity and can be relied on to maintain the strictest confidentiality
