OOE Director
In this role, you will drive operational strategy and continue to advance the company's operational maturity excellence and lean transformation to achieve world-class results in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
This role report to General Manager and it is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province of China.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the development and implementation of site operations strategy, lead and develop site operational excellence plans to support the company's overall business strategy.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement opportunities throughout operations to improve the company's profitability and business growth.
- Ensure that Oerlikon Operational Excellence plans and objectives are implemented on site through appropriate lean methodologies (e.g. VSM, standard operations, etc.) to maximize productivity, capacity, and throughput while minimizing lead times and WIP.
- Lead and manage functional departments to further improve and develop a highly qualified operations team to meet operational key performance indicators and business success.
- Responsible for plant overall safety, health, environment and OOE to comply with related laws, regulations and group targets.
- Responsible for the overall management and supervision of the company's equipment and facilities.
- Explore innovative operating models and technologies such as automation and digital operation.
- Other special tasks assigned by superiors.
Your Profile
- Welding, chemical machinery, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and other related majors
- Proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Proficient in MS-Office and CAD
- More than 15 years of machinery manufacturing management experience, more than 8 years of foreign production management experience in Europe and America
- Experience in production site leadership for operational excellence, lean production, HSE. Experience in welding, pressure vessel manufacturing is preferred
- Good team player with extensive experience working with all levels of the organization, positive engagement and confidence
- Knowledge of all TPS/ Lean and TQM tools, including but not limited to VSM, standard work, pull system and Kanban, unit manufacturing, Lean management, 5S/ visual management, 3P, SMED, TPM, FMEA, QFD, etc.
- Practical experience in managing and measuring operational performance such as OTD, quality, HSE.
